Do I need a reservation?
No. Kayak and paddleboard rentals are first come, first served at the dock. Just show up during operating hours.
Where do I launch from?
Straight from our dock at 9701 3rd Avenue, Stone Harbor. We’re the only rental on Seven Mile Island where you can launch directly — no car racks, no shuttle, no hauling gear down the beach.
Can I launch my own kayak or paddleboard from your dock if a family member is renting?
Yes, absolutely. If you’re with someone renting from us, bring your own and launch alongside them. No extra charge.
Can two kids share a paddleboard?
Yes — most of our boards handle two smaller paddlers comfortably.
Can we put a small child between us on a double kayak?
Yes. A young child can sit in the middle of a double kayak with two paddling adults.
Can we keep a rental on your dock and come and go during the day?
Yes — and we wish more people knew about this. Rent a kayak or paddleboard for a half day, full day, or multi-day, and you can use it as much or as little as you want during our operating hours. Tie up at the dock between paddles.
Do you deliver kayaks and paddleboards?
Yes. Free delivery and pickup on rentals of 2 days or more, anywhere on Seven Mile Island. Have a dock at your rental house? We bring the boards to you.
Do you take credit cards?
Cash only at the dock. ATM available nearby on 96th Street.
