It started with a ski boat we could barely afford and a dream we couldn’t let go of. Our founder bought that first boat with everything he had. No investors, no loans — just a family, a stretch of Stone Harbor’s back bay, and the conviction that if you showed up every day and outworked everyone else, something real could be built. Nearly four decades later, that something real is Island Water Sports. The boats have changed. The operation has grown. But the mentality hasn’t moved an inch. Same water. Same family. Same standard.
