Island Spirits
Coming Summer 2027 · A custom-built luxury vessel for the Stone Harbor back bays.

Not Another Pontoon Boat.
The market is flooded with oversized pontoon boats calling themselves luxury charters. We’re not interested in that lane — we’re building our own.
Island Spirits is a 55-foot custom-built vessel, crafted in Brooklin, Maine — the heart of the country’s wooden boat building tradition and home to WoodenBoat magazine. Designed for the back bays of Seven Mile Island. Twin Mercury 450 outboards, honey teak deck, retractable sunsails, and a full bar built into the helm. Open-concept, no cabin, no compromise. Built for private charters, wedding parties, corporate events, and the milestone moments worth gathering for.
Private charters · Corporate events · Wedding parties · Milestone celebrations · Wine tastings · Weekly public sunset cruises · And whatever the season inspires.
Frequently Asked Questions
When is Island Spirits launching?
Summer 2027. The hull is in production now in Brooklin, Maine. Bookings will open ahead of launch — get on the list to be the first to know.
What kind of boat is Island Spirits?
A 55-foot custom-built vessel, designed and built in Maine specifically for the Stone Harbor back bays. Twin Mercury 450hp outboards, open-concept deck, full bar, honey teak deck, deep mahogany finishes, and cream diamond-stitch upholstery throughout. Built for the moments worth gathering for — not a pontoon dressed up as one.
Who is Island Spirits for?
Private charters, corporate events, milestone celebrations, wedding parties, and weekly public sunset cruises. We’re also planning wine tastings, themed cruises, and events we haven’t dreamed up yet — the boat is built to host whatever the season inspires. Groups looking for something the local rental market doesn’t offer.
How is this different from your other boats?
The Island Water Sports fleet has been built for water sports, group tubing, and back bay cruises since 1988. Island Spirits is a different category — a flagship vessel built for luxury entertainment. Bar service, sunsail-covered deck, honey teak underfoot, and a layout designed for groups gathering on the water rather than riding behind the boat.
Where will it operate?
Stone Harbor, NJ. Launching from Island Water Sports at 9701 3rd Avenue, cruising the Seven Mile Island back bays — the same waters the Tice family has been running boats on since 1988.
